Field Service Technician

    Representative Responsibilities:

    • Assists Regional Manager in sales support and working with dealers, end customers,  machine builders, and manufacturers

      • Help find new customers for sales team

      • Support product demonstrations and coordinate the demonstration equipment

      • Follow up on all customer quotations on behalf of sales representatives.

    • Assisting customers with sales inquiries

      • Develop quotations for products and custom projects)

      • Develop and maintain strong relationships with foreign dealers and customers

      • Work with purchasing manager on determining standard product inventory

    • Assist Sales Manager in support of sales department, reporting etc.

    • Support coordination of  marketing communications & trade shows

    • Organize and participate in sales training seminars and other informational sales events

    • Coordinate literature mailings to dealers

    • Provide  sales backup representatives including answering phones and order entry

    • Coordinate sales meetings, distribute minutes, etc. 

    • Liaison between Sales and Manufacturing, Tech Service and R&D and customers

    • Develop and execute direct marketing campaigns; i.e.  Sales calls, e-mail, promotions etc.

    • Perform other duties as assigned

       

      Minimum Qualifications:

    • 1-3 years previous job related experience in weighing or technical related business.

    • Sales, installation or service experience beneficial

    • HBO business/commercial level with good technical sense

    • Must be extremely flexible in adapting to customer’s  needs

    • Excellent communication skills, inter-personal skills and customer service skills

    • Competent knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel.

    • Effective organizational skills and attention to detail

    • The ability to work well under pressure

    • Fluent in Dutch and English. Good level of German

    • SAP Knowledge desired and advantage
    • Ability to read technical data-sheets or affection to learn
